Lighthouse Club seek sponsors for poor students
Phnom Penh: Lighthouse Club Cambodia will host events gathering with volunteers, building and industry professionals and firms at the end of this month as well as seek for sponsors to raise funds for poor students and orphans to pursue their education in construction sector. Assistant general manager of Lighthouse Club Cambodia (LHCC) Miss. Ros Sreyleak told KHB Media that "we are always looking for sponsors for this event to raise funds in supporting poor students who continue their study". In the meantime, Lighthouse also helps workers who got accident at work and those who are not capable to receive treatment. "All programs need to pay for store or a building’s rent. We try to raise a small amount of money from this event to support students’ monthly expenses and workers who got accident at work. This monthly meeting will be conducted on 30 May 2019. At charity event, sponsors will benefit as follows: - Integrate all LHCC social media outreach - Have the right to distribute magazines as well as flyers about their companies - Make a statement at the end of event - Display Banner or x-stand in the event’s place depending on the location's size - Get a Business Card from all participating guests. She also said that because LHCC is not a business corporation, so we don't earn monthly income to sponsor our members. Therefore, LHCC always hold this event to seek support for the whole process. Also, we don't really want to lose money in any activity. The Lighthouse Club Cambodia has created this event once a month, with the participation of volunteers, industry and construction specialists and the gathering of firms and the largest annual charity golf event that ever held only once a year. So far,"The Lighthouse Club Cambodia" has operated in Cambodia for 9 years, helping 45 students to study in construction. In addition, 15 other students are studying with the support of Club providing study materials, accommodation and additional monthly sponsorship of US$60 for daily supply to the students upon graduation. Participants also have a chance to share their own personal business card as well as company’s card to promote their business. We include drinks and snacks in the event and the price per participant as follows: - Participants who are members of LHCC (LHCC membership 2019) must pay US$5.00 - Participants who are not members of LHCC (None Members) must pay US$15.00 In this event, if the participants haven't yet registered with LHCC members, they also can register directly at the event at yearly cost of US$50.  For all funds raised in activities will be donated to support students and victims.
